About Soulflowe History

From Dreams to Reality

      Soulflowe concept came to me about 17 years ago, at one of my jobs called the “Psychic Eye”. I had the pleasure of being surrounded by talented women, who were generous with their time and knowledge around me. These women taught me about the metaphysical world, they taught me about karma, healing, cleansing, and good energy. This was something I was already drawn to, but was blessed enough to walk in there and learn more about. I was able to take classes on how to meditate, read tarot, develop my intuitive abilities with practices such as Psychometry. Learning about the Metaphysical world, and later on working and managing retail stores for many years made me want to create my own. I’ve been lucky enough to work my way up in retail from seasonal sales associate, to Store Manager and had much success with that. I hope to take my Spiritual side, my business side, my insatiable curiosity, and sort of combine them in a way that can hopefully create a brand that can inspire others to reach for their dreams. I hope to do this by reaching people in a spiritual, emotional, and intellectual way that allows for further self discovery. Which will hopefully then guide you to your passions, and ultimate life purpose. 

     The name “Soulflowe” was born from an Uber passenger, wish I could remember his name! He came into my life at a time when I was struggling to find a name that wasn’t taken, he asked me simply to tell him some words that I wanted to embody the brand. He then came up with “Soul Flow”, but because these are such common words I decided to put them together and add a silent “e” at the end. 

      What does the “e” stand for in the name “Soulflowe”?

It stands for “Emotions”, and “Evolution of Emotions”, many emotions are silent we must find a way to tap into them. Through discovering the root of our emotions, we can began to master them. 

       What are some other names that I was considering before Soulflowe?

I was really Loving the names “Clarity Candles”, and “Living in Color”. Both were taken

I later considered naming it “Electric Soul” -inspired by Lana Del Rey’s lyrics. But I wanted a name that was more malleable, and you’ll see why later in years to come! 

 

Soulflowe started 2013 but that was just me learning how to make candles, I didn’t officially birth the brand until about end of 2018. Our inventory grew past more than just candles, into a full e-commerce store in 2020!
